Ashley May
Founder & President, Maytech Systems
With over 25 years of experience in the fire and security industry, Ashley May brings a deep, hands-on understanding of what it takes to design, install, and manage high-quality life safety and security systems.
Ashley began his career as a technician, working directly in the field installing and servicing residential and small commercial burglar alarms. As his expertise grew, he expanded into camera systems, fire alarm installations, and later moved into the sales and management of national accounts. His well-rounded background gives him unique insight into both the technical and operational sides of the business.
Ashley holds numerous nationally recognized certifications, including a NICET Level IV certification in Fire Alarm Systems, and maintains low voltage electrical licenses in multiple states. His dedication to excellence and code-compliant work continues to drive Maytech’s reputation as a trusted, independent security provider in the Carolinas.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending quality time with his three children and family.
